The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank Food Drive

By | News | No Comments

We are partnering up with the Peninsula Food Bank again this year to help provide food to people who would otherwise go hungry in our community. We have a box in the office so you can come in and donate! We donated 162 pounds of food last year! We can beat that this year, together!

Families are in need of these non-perishable food products:

  • Hearty meaty soups,
  • Canned ham, tuna, and chicken
  • Canned vegetables, and fruits
  • Pasta meals (whole grain)
  • Whole grain cereals, oatmeal, and breakfast bars
  • Peanut butter/jelly
  • Fruit cups
  • Baby food and Formula

This year, we are accepting monetary donations $1 = 4 meals

June’s Neighborhood Watch Meeting

By | News | No Comments

We will be hosting our monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting on Wednesday 14th of June from 6-7pm in the Clubhouse. These meetings are an opportunity for our residents and our Neighborhood Watch Members to share any concerns, thoughts or discuss any other matters they have observed within our community.

We look forward to these meetings and find that a lot of residents enjoy this opportunity to share. You don’t have to be a part of the Committee to attend. Please take a moment to come, share and hear from your other community members!

We will have light refreshments and drinks for you and try to always have a special Newport News Community guest attend to share and answer any questions you may have for them! If you have any other questions or concerns, please come to the neighborhood watch meeting so they can be addressed. Hope to see you there. Thank you!
